ABOUT THE CHARITY
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors is a non-profit organization created for the sole purpose of raising money to build or modify the homes of America’s injured Military Veterans. JAH4WW helps to build or modify homes so they are handicap accessible and comfortable for our wounded vets. Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors was formed in October of 2009 by the MN Viking Jared Allen after he returned home from his USO trip to US Military Bases in the Middle East. Jared Allen was moved by the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices that our soldiers make every day to protect our freedom. He wanted to say thank you to every soldier in the only way that Jared Allen knows how. By embracing the conflict and making a positive life-changing difference in the lives of those who need it most, Jared and his JAH4WW will help make life for wounded vets just a little bit easier.
How You Can Help
Your support can help provide a handicap accessible kitchen or bathroom to a wounded veteran.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide financial assistance and support to our injured United States military veterans by building handicap accessible homes to suit their individual needs one wounded warrior at a time.

Army Sgt. John Ricketts
United States Army Sgt. John Ricketts was injured in May of 2010, while serving as a gunner for the 101st Airborne Division in Afghanistan. An improvised explosive device blew up his vehicle during a routine convoy patrol of a mountainside. The homemade roadside bomb ripped the cab off of the heavy truck carrying John and three other soldiers, and sent it flying off the edge of a cliff. His brain injury was so severe that at first he was not expected to ever walk or talk again.
After learning to walk and stand with severe pain, John made the difficult decision to have his legs amputated below his knees. He now has prosthetics and his dream is to compete in an off-road marathon involving a run through the desert, a mountain-bike race, and a competitive swim.
In July, Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors closed on a home in Phoenix, Arizona for John, followed by an official Demolition Ceremony that took place on September 6th, 2014.
