Spring is upon us and we look forward to the flowers being in bloom and the desert awash with color! Much has happened in the last couple of months. We have approval by the community to go to the next level with Cashman Park which you can read about in this issue. Our management company has moved to its new location in CityCenter of CityNorth which you can see in the article in this magazine. We are fortunate that in this new location, we are able to hold our monthly meetings without having to make outside arrangements. And, this venue is available for use by other groups as well.
As you know, we have a new Master Developer – we are introducing them to our community through the article inside. This issue also will give you an update from Officer Mitten as well as an update on Cashman Park. We are hoping to meet with the City of Phoenix before our next issue with resolution on many issues. We will also have an update on the Board elections which will be announced at our annual meeting on April 18th.
We have also decided to upgrade the website so that it can be used more effectively and as a better tool to disseminate information to the community. If you haven’t registered your email address with Rossmar & Graham, you can just go to desertridgelifestyles.com and check in there and see what’s going on.
And, we have devoted this issue to “Did You Know…” which is all about Desert Ridge and the surrounding areas. We have gathered a lot of wonderful tidbits for your enjoyment of the area – for example do you know how many spas we have in the neighborhood? Well, that and many more appear here so enjoy learning all about things in Desert Ridge.
And finally, “it takes a Village” as they say to put this magazine together and we thank all of our contributors as well as the people it takes to put this out each quarter. Special thanks to Alyssa Saxton, Terrance Smith, Officer Tim Mitten, Doris Trojan, Doug Dickson and our newcomer, Brad Slager for all the hard work.
