The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale THRIFT SHOP has reopened! After being closed for some much needed renovations and a fresh coat of paint, the doors are now open to one of the most unique and fun places to shop in Scottsdale. We are located at 2626 N Scottsdale Road just south of beautiful Old Towne Scottsdale. Our hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm. The Thrift Shop has long been known as a great secret of Scottsdale shopping. Shopping here is not just about seeking out that “thrift value”, but also finding those unique vintage and treasure worthy finds. The boutique like Shop is restocked daily through a very generous donation stream of great clothing brands allowing you to find some of the latest fashions at great values.
The mission of the Thrift Shop is still all about the Kids that benefit from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of merchandise at the Thrift Shop goes to support the Clubs and the Kids they serve. Your tax deductible donations and tax free purchases at the Thrift Shop make a huge impact. For every $1 donated to the Thrift Shop (through purchases and donations), $19.33 in positive economic impact is generated into the communities and children served at the Clubs. The real impact from your purchases and donations comes as the Clubs are better able to empower the more than 17,500 youth of all ages and backgrounds to develop the qualities needed to reach their full potential as productive, responsible citizens. The Clubs provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun, friendships, athletics, and high-impact youth development programs during critical non-school hours. Together, we believe that every child deserves a great future and great futures start with your support.
Besides adding your support by shopping at the Thrift Shop, there are two other ways you can help with our mission as we work together to support the development of the Kids in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Volunteering is a quick and easy way to also give back to the Clubs. Our Volunteers love serving at the Thrift Shop and enjoy the time they get to spend with each other and our great customers. The shifts are short and very manageable. The second way you can help support our efforts comes in the form of Donations. In order for the Thrift Shop to continue the success it has enjoyed, we seek to develop a consistent stream of the unique and wanted merchandise our customers have come to expect. Donation drop-offs can be made during our normal business hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm). For furniture donations and large household items, please call 480-344-5532.
