Thanks to everyone who participated in our annual election. Our Nominating Committee did an outstanding job and we appreciate the many hours that were given by our volunteers. Special thanks also to Phoenix Vice-Mayor Jim Waring and City Manager Ed Zuercher, who spoke at the event.
With 11 candidates, it was one of the most competitive in Desert Ridge history. The MIM location was popular with everyone and I’m certain will be coming back for future events.
Now that our DRCA board has been installed and committee chairs selected, we’ll be focusing on the work of maintaining and improving our community. If you’re interested in becoming involved, this would be a great time to join one of our Desert Ridge committees.
