ROAD CLOSURE:
Black Mountain Boulevard: Deer Valley Road to Mayo Boulevard
Duration: June 30, 8:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.
Activity: Remove existing and replace with new roadway striping and traffic signs for travel in the northbound lanes of Black Mountain Boulevard. This will enable the barricades to be removed in this area.
Restrictions: Black Mountain Boulevard will be closed on the date and time listed. All traffic will be re-routed from Deer Valley Road to 40th Street to Mayo Boulevard.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS/WORK:
Black Mountain Boulevard: Rough Rider Road
Duration: June 30 for approximately three weeks; Work hours: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Activity: West roadway shoulder closure for installation of a new storm drain. Heavier construction activity in the desert between Rough Rider Road and Pinnacle Peak Road will begin in August.
Restrictions: No restrictions.
Notes: Construction dates and restrictions may change, due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
Use caution when traveling (motor/pedestrian/bicycle/equestrian) through the construction area and observe barricading and signage at all times. Most importantly, slowdown in the work zone!
