Keeping Up with PVCC Spring 2016

Where Education Meets Innovation

By Candace Oehler
Director of Marketing and Communications

Get to know PVCC this Spring!

It’s a great time to visit campus and attend one or more of our interesting, fun, educational, or entertaining events.  And remember that summer is a great time to catch up or get ahead at PVCC, especially for students returning home from college, or getting ready to start. In just five weeks, they can complete one, or even two, college-transfer classes in biology, chemistry, communications, computer information systems, English, math, business, geology, psychology, Spanish, sociology, humanities, or music.  Extended 8-week classes begin May 31; 5-week Express classes begin May 31 and July 5.

This is the third consecutive time the college has earned this recognition.

The college as also been awarded the designation of Military Advanced Education & Transition (MAET) Top School in the 2016 Guide to Colleges and Universities.

S.E.E.4 Vets (Supporting Education and Employment for Vets, a nonprofit organization), has established the new “S.E.E.4Vets Veterans Math Success Scholarship for PVCC” Fund that supports a new academic initiative at PVCC designed to assist new student veterans enrolled in Math courses toward degree completion.
