The Desert Ridge Community Association was invited to the groundbreaking of the new Cambria Suites. On September 27, 2013, one of the world’s largest hotel companies, Choice Hotels International, Inc., and a hotel and restaurant developer and management company, O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC, announced the expansion and development of a new upscale brand hotel into the Desert Ridge community. Cambria Suites has an award-winning design and is said to bring a variety of space for their guests to refill, refresh and reflect in upscale contemporary accommodations with affordable pricing. It will also bring an award-winning and celebrity chef, who is in the Arizona Culinary Hall of Fame, Chef Michael DeMaria. It is said that the Desert Ridge Cambria Suites will be the national training kitchen led by Chef Michael for all future Cambria Suites’ culinary teams. The groundbreaking event showed off many of Chef Michael’s tempting cuisines. “The Reuben Sliders and Chocolate Cake Pops dipped in caramel were my favorite.” The 121-room hotel will be a great addition to Desert Ridge and we are happy to have a new neighbor.
