Our gang of culinary critics created our first ever “pizza challenge”. Our goal was simple: find the best take-out pizza in Desert Ridge. To broaden our perspectives, we enlisted a minor for the first-time ever to offer a kid’s perspective.

The results:
Surprisingly, all of the pizzas we tasted were above average and there was no consensus for an overall best restaurant; however, there was strong agreement based on the variety of the pizzas we compared.
The winners:
Top Pepperoni Pizza: BJ’s
Best Cheese Pizza: Humble Pie
Best Signature Pizza: Mellow Mushroom, Maui Wowie
Kids favorite:
All of the pizzas I tasted were exceptionally good; however, two of the pizzas went above and beyond the standards of my many years of pizza tasting. The Humble Pie cheese pizza was one of the two pizzas that made my taste buds cheer. This pizza’s cheese was cooked to perfection and could not have been better. The final pizza was the BJ’s cheese pizza. Having a father from Chicago, I love deep dish and this deep dish was delish. – Dylan.
