“What is Mathnasium?”

What is Mathnasium?  We get asked this everyday!   We are your neighborhood Math Only learning center.  We understand that math can be a point of stress in many homes.  Whether your student is struggling and you’re frustrated, or your child is looking to be challenged beyond their current level, our tutors can help!

At Mathnasium of Desert Ridge, We Make Math Make Sense!  Mathnasium provides instruction to struggling students and those interested in enrichment.  Our program services children in grades K-12.  We’re like a gymnasium for your child’s mind.

Using the Mathnasium Method, our instructors will help your student gain a greater understanding of math, build confidence, and create excitement towards the subject of math.  With that, doors will open to your child’s future.

We begin with our comprehensive diagnostic assessment to see what your child knows and doesn’t know.  From that, we construct a customized learning plan that targets skill gaps and develops Number Sense.  Students receive personalized instruction in a group setting.  Our instructors use a combination of techniques that work with different learning styles – written, mental, verbal, visual, and tactile.  Along with working through their customized learning plans, Mathnasium students receive homework help to solidify their understanding of concepts covered in their classwork.

Our highly trained instructors are passionate about math and care about the success of your child.  They foster a caring, encouraging, and fun environment that helps kids thrive and learn.  All teaching takes place during the Mathnasium session, and we don’t assign homework!

Come in and find out what the buzz is all about!

“Children don’t hate math.
What they hate is being confused, intimidated, and embarrassed by math.  With understanding comes passion, and with passion comes growth— a treasure is unlocked.”

– Larry Martinek, creator of the
Mathnasium Method
