A Truly Valued Community Volunteer
The Desert Ridge Community Association (DRCA) would like to recognize and thank Stephanie Rimmer for her time and service on the DRCA Board of Directors and on several committees during her term on the board…and to convey that she’ll truly be missed as she makes this transition to her new home in Washington.
Stephanie joined the association’s board in 2014 with a strong focused and desire to grow community lifestyle events, activities and programs for every demographic and age group, to advance the development of more parks that aligned with the Desert Ridge Specific Plan based on the residential size of the community; and to actively expand the association’s governance role, responsibilities and influence at the city and state levels.
Stephanie’s hard work and contributions to the community can truly not be overstated and are immensely appreciated. During her 3½ years as a member of the DRCA Board, Stephanie served as the Chairperson on the Lifestyles Committee, Finance Committee, Strategic Community Plan (SCP) Parks Sub-Committee, Vice-Chair of the SCP Planning Sub-Committee and as a member of the Public Affairs -Committee. She co-authored the Desert Ridge Community Association Strategic Community Plan that became the genesis of the SCP Planning and SCP Parks Sub-Committees, that were established to advance the Desert Ridge Strategic Community Plan goals and priorities for development, drainage, density, roadways and infrastructure, parks and recreation.
Stephanie’s contributions and legacy will endure for many years to come, as the board continue to actively pursue and advance the Desert Ridge Community Association Strategic Community Plan goals for the betterment of the community.
The Desert Ridge Board of Directors and its management team are very grateful to Stephanie for all that we achieved together and we wish her continued involvement and success in her new community.
