The Pinnacle Girls Lacrosse Club celebrated one of its most successful seasons in club history this spring, capped off by its sixth state title at Arcadia High School on May 6. Entering the playoffs as the #4 seed, Pinnacle’s Varsity girls were able to prevail 10-9 over the undefeated #1 Desert Vista team in a hard-fought semifinal on the road in Ahwatukee.
Finding themselves down 6-1 early in the championship game to a #2 seeded Chaparral team that had beaten them 13-4 and 14-6 earlier in the season, head coach Riley Winter and the coaching staff rallied the team and emerged victorious by a score of 12-11.

The future for Pinnacle’s girls looks bright indeed, as their Junior Varsity team posted a perfect 11-0 record this season, scoring an average of 12.7 goals per game while allowing just 3.5 per game.

Pinnacle Girls Lacrosse Club competes in the Arizona Girls Lacrosse Association (azgla.com) and is open to any interested 9th-12th grade girls within the Pinnacle, Paradise Valley or Cactus Shadows high school boundaries. Visit pinnaclegirlslacrosse.com to find out more.
