Phase II
Living Well at Sagewood Retirement Community

Sagewood, a resort-style senior living community in Northeast Phoenix, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Phase II which will be the largest addition to the community since opening in 2010. More than 400 attendees learned about the 280,000-square-foot expansion that includes 101 independent living homes with both one- and two-bedroom floor plans, and an array of new amenities.

Phase II amenities will consist of the Owl’s Nest restaurant and lounge, an 18-hole championship golf putting course, a chapel and additional card rooms. This phase of construction will also deliver new administration offices and renovations to the existing Canyon Café and Palo Verde dining venues.

Sagewood is located in the pristine desert of northeast Phoenix, focusing on an active lifestyle and overall well-being. The Life Plan Community features resort-like amenities including a fitness center, movie theaters, indoor and outdoor pools, formal and casual dining, and the Five Star-rated Acacia Health Center providing assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and a rehabilitative therapy center.

Designed by architect Todd & Associates and built by The Weitz Company, Phase II
is expected to be completed in late 2020.
