Senior Citizen Discount Never Stop Learning!
Residents of Maricopa County ages 65 and older can now take advantage of a tuition discount for credit classes at all Maricopa Community Colleges. The discounted rate is $43 per credit hour, which is 50% off the current County Resident tuition.

To be eligible for the Senior Citizen Tuition Rate, students must be 65 or older at time of enrollment, residents of Maricopa County, and eligible for in-state tuition. All credit courses at all Maricopa Community Colleges are eligible for the discount.

The fine print: Eligible students who wish to enroll at the discounted tuition rate must wait to enroll until after the first class meeting, and then submit a Senior Citizen Tuition Rate form and proof of eligibility prior to the second class meeting.

PVCC offers multiple start dates, with 16-, 14-, 12- and 8-week Express classes. Check out our schedule at paradisevalley.edu and plan ahead. More information on the discounted tuition is available at: www.maricopa.edu/senior-citizen-tuition-rate

Grand Opening Celebrations
You’re Invited!

PVCC invites our neighbors to join us in celebrating several exciting program launches this September!

Entrepreneur
Education Center
Tuesday, September 13
11:30 am – 1:30 pm | K117

The new Entrepreneur Education Center helps current and future small business owners become “Shark Tank” ready, and offers classes, workshops, and support. You can learn core business fundamentals; how to start or grow a business; earn a Certificate in just two semesters and, for those wanting to continue their studies, how to transition to university business programs.

The hands-on, real world curriculum components include creating a business plan, accounting techniques, and how to source financing. Guest speakers – all successful entrepreneurs – share their experiences and expertise.

“Small business is the engine of economic growth,” says EEC professor Dr. Kishore Dash. “More and more people want to be their own boss, and we can help them achieve that goal.”

The Open House features a tour, guest speakers, and light refreshments!
