I can already picture the leaves in the meadows turning their beautiful shades of red and gold, the crisp air, and maybe even a cozy hike up in Flagstaff. As we transition into this magical season, I’m excited to share some fantastic events that will bring us all together. So, grab your calendar, and let’s plan some fun!
Farmers Market on High Street
Kicking off on October 6th and continuing every Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM, our cherished Farmers Market is back and better than ever. Imagine strolling through High Street, the scent of fresh produce in the air, discovering unique local crafts, and maybe even finding that perfect homemade treat. It’s more than just a market—it’s where our community gathers, and I can’t wait to see you there!
Community Meet & Greet
Let’s come together for our Community Meet & Greet on November 7th from 6 PM to 8 PM. Whether you’re new to Desert Ridge or have been here for years, this is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with neighbors. We’ll share stories, laugh, and maybe even create some new traditions together.
Fallooza Festival on High Street
Mark your calendars for October 19th because our Fallooza Festival on High Street will be an evening to remember! From 5:30 PM to 10 PM, we’ll fill the street with music, delicious food, and a whole lot of fun. This event is all about celebrating the season with our amazing community, and I’m so excited to share it with you all.
Mega Community Wide Yard Sale/Shred-A-Thon
Got some clutter to clear? Our Mega Community Yard Sale and Shred-A-Thon on November 2nd is the perfect chance to declutter and recycle responsibly. The yard sale runs from 7 AM to 2 PM, and you can bring documents for shredding to the Boys and Girls Club Vestar Branch from 1 PM to 3 PM. It’s a great way to refresh your space and maybe find a few treasures along the way!
Annual Veterans Day Appreciation Breakfast
We’re deeply honored to host our annual Veterans Day Appreciation Breakfast on November 11th from 8 AM to 11 AM. This breakfast is our way of saying thank you to those who have served our country. See page 11 for details. If you, a family member, or a friend have served, we warmly invite you to join us for this special morning of gratitude and fellowship.
Coffee Club Meeting
Don’t forget, our club meeting is coming up on December 10th at 9 AM. These meetings are a great way to stay connected and involved, and we’d love to see you there.
The Seventeenth Annual Lighting and Decorating Contest
The decorating contest will run November 29th through December 9th. See pages 14-15 for more details on how to participate. We hope to see the community get creative and festive this year!
Snow Blast at Reach 11
Join us for the Snow Blast on Friday, December 20th, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Just like last year, this event will be a blast—literally, with snow blasting! More information is attached.
