SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (Aug. 9, 2016) —The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is hosting its Labor Day Weekend Last Blast celebration with complimentary access to Kierland FlowRider, a 4 p.m. checkout on Monday, Sept. 5 and summer room rates starting from $179.

Beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 through 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, guests who are paying the Resort’s daily service charge* can enjoy complimentary access to the Kierland FlowRider wave simulator where they can surf and bodyboard on the last of the summer’s waves.

For foodies, The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is proud to once again host one of the city’s premier culinary events, Phoenix Cooks! on Saturday, Sept. 3. The event is a food-lover’s paradise of food samples, wine, beer and spirit sampling and ongoing stage demonstrations with local chefs.

For those who wish to make Phoenix Cooks! a food-filled staycation over the long Labor Day Weekend, The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa is offering a special package that includes a general entrance ticket to the Phoenix Cooks! main event and two nights of accommodations in a spacious Westin Kierland Resort guestroom (Friday, Sept. 2 and Saturday, Sept. 3).

In addition to savoring the culinary talents of many of greater Phoenix’s top chefs and food and drink purveyors, guests who book the 2016 Phoenix Cooks!
