FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in Arizona, hosted the company’s 11th Annual Board Member Appreciation Dinner on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Musical Instrument Museum in Desert Ridge. The event was established as a night to recognize and give thanks to the local Board Members of FirstService Residential managed properties.
“This year’s Board Member Appreciation Dinner featured one our most successful turnouts of Board Member attendees. Each year we look forward to this event because it allows us to truly take a moment and show the Board Members how much we appreciate the time they volunteer to enhance their communities” said Jason Proudfit, FirstService Residential Arizona President.
Nearly 250 local community Board Members attended the Board Member Appreciation Dinner along with FirstService Residential community managers and local executives. Attendees were allowed to tour multiple exhibit galleries throughout the Musical Instrument Museum. The event also featured The Beth Lederman Trio and 12 year old vocalist Madison Holmes, a student of Explorer Middle School in Desert Ridge as entertainment. During the event, FirstService Residential Senior Vice Presidents Any Ferrell & Ken Olson took a moment to highlight numerous community success stories from the past year. President Jason Proudfit finished the night’s event with a presentation touching on subjects including the housing market and thanking the Board Members for their service. Then in true David Letterman fashion, Proudfit provided the Top 10 Reasons to Serve on your HOA Board with the number one reason being “because your mom would be proud of you!”
