“The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce honors annually women who demonstrate professional excellent, devote themselves to their communities and lead the way for the progress of all women with the ATHENA Award. The ATHENA Awards recognize businesswomen in the public and private sectors, in addition to highlighting an upcoming leader as an ATHENA young professional. In its 29th year in the Valley of the Sun, the 2016 ATHENA Award recognized a total of 45 women from the public and private sectors, including two (2) Desert Ridge Residents.”
Stephanie Rimmer was nominated as the non-profit organization 2016 ATHENA Award Candidate for her volunteerism and community service to the Desert Ridge Community Association Board of Directors and as Chairwoman of the Desert Ridge Lifestyles Committee and member of the Desert Ridge Public Affairs Committee.
