This GRAMMY-winning vocal ensemble is renowned for over two decades of excellence in jazz and the art of group singing. Like the great groups that have come before, such as Manhattan Transfer and Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, they have learned from the best and taken the art form to new levels. Rooted in jazz, they also infuse Brazilian, R & B, classical, and pop music with equal creativity and authenticity.

Anubis Quartet

Formed in 2007, the Anubis Quartet is a bold next-generation saxophone ensemble committed to the creation, progression, and performance of new music. The group has quickly gained regard as one of North America’s major contemporary saxophone ensembles, and they regularly commission and premiere works by living composers.

Coyote Jump: A Canyon Records
60th Anniversary Concert

Consisting of composer and multi-instrumentalist Colin Farish, Native American flutist John-Carlos Perea, violinist Savannah Lack, and percussionist Will Clipman, Coyote Jump sculpts a musical tribute to Native America with the sound of the cedar flute at its core. Inspired by traditions of indigenous knowledge, their music is unfathomably mysterious, ever changing, and heartbreakingly beautiful.

Tickets: Free (no museum admission required) Thomas delivers a program of “heavy metal” works for tuba and euphonium that celebrates the historical, the contemporary, the interpretive, and the downright jazzy.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with three superstars of Irish music! John Doyle (guitar), Karan Casey (vocals), and John Williams (accordion/concertina), all founding members of the legendary group Solas, will come together for one special weekend engagement.

Toots Thielemans

Belgian-born jazz master Toots Thielemans has performed with musical giants ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Paul Simon. His signature harmonica sound and innovative covers of pop and jazz standards delight audiences with their artistry and beauty. Quincy Jones calls him “one of the greatest musicians of our time.” Thielemans will be accompanied by GRAMMY-nominated pianist Kenny Werner.

Suzy Bogguss

Amelia Piano Trio

Known for their charismatic and extroverted performances, the Amelia Piano Trio has become known as one of the great young chamber ensembles. The program will include works by Rachmaninov, Shostakovich and Dvo’ák.

Nakai, Eaton, and Clipman: A Canyon
Records 60th Anniversary Concert

Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai is joined by guitarist William Eaton and percussionist William Clipman, as well as other longtime musical friends, in this celebration of Nakai’s and Canyon Records’ thirty-year partnership.

Arizona Chamber Orchestra Season Finale
